[Verizon] Confirmation when using "Wipe data/Factory Reset" in CWR?

Sorry for the newb question. Getting ready to flash AOKP M3 and got to the part where you run the above option. I'm running CWR 5.5.0.4. When I select the option, it just sits on the black hat CWR logo. I can hit the power button and get back to the menu, but nothing seems to work. Even Reboot System does nothing. Are you supposed to get a confirmation that the wipe is complete? Should I battery pull or just go ahead and try flashing AOKP?

I think you toggled the "Back menu button" try pressing volume up and down at the same time to see if you can get it to say "Back menu button enabled" then try again

Yep, that was it. I tried hitting and holding the volume and power buttons in various fashions with no luck. Finally just kept scrolling up and down and it re-enabled. Then was able to do the wipe. AOKP is booting up now!

5.8.0.2 cwm is really nice and official. I've never flown through recovery like this makes wiping and flashing much quicker

dear god yes, that overscroll problem was the most annoying thing in the world, its what also causes the back button to become disabled!

i think the touch version is hands down best cwr koush has developed

I installed it from Rom Manager and that's what it gave me. The touch one made me nervous when it said it may cause issues with some ROM's. I may look into getting the 5.8.0.2 though...

it doesnt cause issues maul, that i can promise you. i have installed all these roms, and i have had the touch version for quite some time



and still no issues with that

Alright time for me to stop being lazy and flash the touch version as well I kinda like the overscroll BS makes it more like a frustrating game when flashing a rom

I'm actually still using the "unofficial" touch CWM because I like the setup of it better than the way the official one is laid out. :-/

However, either one is miles better than the overscrolling that just about drove me crazy with the regular one.
