[Verizon] Dumb Question

I feel dumb asking this question, but I'm running Liquid and just downloaded Tiger Woods PGA Tour for my phone. It's giving a screen resolution issue...does anyone know a work-around for this ROM or if the devs can do anything or should I just unroot my phone for the game? LOL.

If you're getting a screen resolution error, I fail to see how unrooting your phone will help. Rooted or not, the screen resolution should be the same for all SGN phones.

Is there more about this error you're not telling us?

I was just wondering if the ROM developers were going to try and do anything about this or just suggest unrooting.

Do you by any chance have the google search bar on your homescreen still? I know I heard something about this awhile back and it was working for some people on the gnex either by removing the search bar or using the full screen mod or something along those lines. Sorry I couldn't be more specific.

"May not work on rooted devices" is a cop-out for "may not work on non-stock devices"... I wouldn't count on it.

It also says this, which sounds more like what the error is describing:

Will not run on stock (AT&T) HTC One X because the developer coded it for specific resolutions instead of using scaling to account for HD resolutions..

Just read a comment on Droid Life where a guy said he was able to run said game on AOKP Milestone 5. Not sure if he's legit and/or if there is something in the AOKP settings that allow it to work. Just thought I'd pass it along, could be worth a shot just to test it out. Nandroid current setup > flash rom > get past Google login > don't set up squat except to download the game and try it. If it doesn't work, go into the AOKP settings and see if there's something that might give it a chance. Just spitballin' here. :dontknow:
