[Verizon] Flashing Google Wallet = FCs, NFC not recognized, and other problems?

Did anyone else run into the following problems after installing Google Wallet? (and yes, I did do the packages.xml hack and flashed the app and everything...)

  • Google Wallet FCs instantly upon opening the app. Don't even see any of the UI...
  • NFC does not appear in Settings anymore...
  • After some time I get a bizarre glitch with the screen, where after locking the device, when I try to unlock it, the screen flashes for an instant and goes black again. When I touch the dark screen, I feel feedback which indicates that it is unlocked but the screen isn't on.

HELP PLEASE! I've restored from a backup for now but I'd love to get GW working perfectly!
 
I havent had any issues my self, but to flash google wallet, I simply wiped data and cache first then installed (i didnt have any important data I couldn;t recover.) the wipe makes it so you dont have to edit and change all the permissions and such :)
 
Mine forced closed every time until I wiped data and cache. Then do "Fix Permissions".

Works perfectly now!
 
Everything works for me too. No FC's, but definitely still getting the "Android is Upgrading" x /16 thingy...

Anyone know how to get rid of this??

Wasn't getting mine to work either when flashing it after rebooting when flashing a ROM. Wiped all data and flashed ROM again and flashed Wallet right after and rebooted. Working now, and I got the $10 card!
 
they've made some progress over at xda, and made it installable from an apk. You do have to be on a fresh version of ics or remove all traces of the flashed version... I'm waiting until tomorrow, I think, unless someone can tell me a way to be sure that the google card's current balance will still be there when I reinstall it.
