Root [Verizon] Help, bricked my phone with "Google Wallet Installer"

Guys, need help!
I've rooted my phone and installed CleanROM. This morning I wanted to install Google Wallet and used "Google Wallet Installer" app provided on this forum.
After I installed the app, I proceeded to restore the build.prop, after I did this phone tried to reboot, but never came back. I pulled out the battery and powered it up again. Phone turns up, but farthest it goes is to the initial Samsung Gallaxy S3 screen.

What can I do? Please help.

few of things to try

1) boot into recovery and try dalvik cache and normal cache wipe
2) if the above fails boot into recovery and just flash the firmware(cleanrom) again
3) Download the official stock firmware from sammobile and flash it via odin in download mode(not the best options better to use option 1 or 2)

Did you install BusyBox, and then run the "Smart Install"? Regardless, what's happening is that the phone won't boot because it can't read from the build.prop. It was more than likely wiped if busybox wasn't installed. All you need to do, if you still have the CleanRom zip, or a backup, is to boot into recovery manually and then flash the zip or restore your backup. I'll edit this and add the manual recovery buttons in a minute.

Pulled from a website: "While device is powered off, hold down the HOME + VOLUME UP buttons and press the 'POWER' button for about 5 seconds to enter Recovery Mode."

When I boot into recover these are the choices I have:

1. Reboot system now
2. Install zip from sdcard
3. install zip from sideload
4. wipe data/factory reset (I tried it, nothing really happened)
5. wipe cache partition
6. backup and restore (can't do that, says no files found)
7. mounts and storage
8. advanced

So which one of these choices should I use to try dalvik cache and normal cache wipe?

Nope, don't have BusyBox installed, don't think I know what it is.

Dalvik is found under Advanced. Use #5 to wipe the cache partition. You have to look at the screen. the cache wipes happen fast but it is doing something.

Ok, flashed both delvik and normal cache. Still the same problem, phone does not boots up beyond Samsung Galazy S3 sign.

How do I do this "flash the firmware(cleanrom) again". Do you mean I need to use 4. wipe data/factory reset ?

Do you have the ROM ZIP file on your SD card? If you do, wipe cache, and Delvik again. Them use #4 to Wipe data and do a Factory Reset. Then use #2 to select the ZIP file on your SD card to flash the ROM again.

Shoot, I deleted the ROM ZIP file from the SD this morning. Argh man...
So what else can I do.

Did you make a nandroid backup before installing wallet?
If so, restore that. :)
Looks like valorian has got ya going in the right direction :)

Did you make a backup before you tried to install wallet? Your only options at this point are to restore a backup or reinstall the ROM. If you deleted the zip file you will need to put it back on your SD card. At this point the only way you are going to be able to do this is by using a card reader in a PC to put the zip file on your Sd card.

No, didn't do a back up before installing wallet. Ok, how do I re-install the ROM? My PC does not see my phone because it is well almost dead. How can I put a ROM Zip file on the SD when I cannot connect phone to the PC?
Is there a way for me to boot in the "safe mode" to load file on the phone?

The only way I know of at this point is to remove the SD card from the phone. You will need to use a Micro to Mini SD adapter and put the SD card in a card reader.

If there is another way, hopefully someone else will jump in. Once you have the zip file back on your SD card, follow the steps in my previous post.

You got it....put the card into a card reader and into the computer, put the rom on the card, put the card into the phone, boot into recovery, wipe and flash:)

Yeah use a card reader or, if you dont have one, use an old phone if you have one ;)
Good luck and let this be a lesson to you young man lol :P

try one more thing while the phone is booting keep the vol down button pressed does it go past the samsung logo and start up and show Safe mode in the bottom left of the screen?

Let us know how it works out.

Ok, guys, I could not wait until I go home, so I went into a local Office Depot and got ripped off by purchasing 16Gb card for $20 :-).
Anyway, I loaded CleanROM Zip file on the Micro SD card and put it in the phone.
So, what are my next steps?
1. Install Zip from SD card?

Can I format my phone drive completely? Since I am doing reload of the ROM, I thought it would be good to wipe it down clean, because when I installed ROM first time it did not wipe out drive clean and left bunch of old folders with old files.

Is it just me who gets excited by threads like this, hoping it has a happy ending? Lol or should i get out more? :)

So, now that I am back to normal state on my phone. Can someone tell me what the heck did I do wrong when I installed Google Wallet? I mean I would still like to have it on my phone. It is a convenience, when sometime I forget my wallet.

What is build.prop?
Should I care if this build.prop changes or not?
Once I install Google Wallet, do I need to keep Wallet Installer or can I delete it?
