Root [Verizon] Help, bricked my phone with "Google Wallet Installer"

What is build.prop?
Should I care if this build.prop changes or not?
Once I install Google Wallet, do I need to keep Wallet Installer or can I delete it?

I'm not a developer so I'm not sure what all this file does. I believe it's used to identify your phone to the network.

What the installer is doing is changing the phone ID so Google Wallet thinks you have a Nexus and not a GS3. After Wallet is installed the installer puts the build.prop file back the way it was.

I think what went wrong is you did not have busybox installed and running before you started the installer. Install busybox and select it to start it up. Then try the installer again. Follow the link I posted to the XDA forum that explains all the steps.

Do all this after you do a backup though. ;)

Thanks valorian! You are spot on!
Install and run busy box. Make a nandroid backup before installing wallet, or anything for that matter:)

What is the Busy Box for? What does it actually do? Once I install Google Wallet, can I uninstall Busy Box and Wallet Installer?

Heh, exactly what BusyBox does is over my head :p I just know I need it sometimes so I leave it installed.
I also leave the installer installed too. Just in case:)
