[Verizon] Help, please! Error message: Device not found & can't install Clockworkmod

I unlocked my device and then tried to root it. SU is installed but says root failed. BusyBox says device is rooted. When I go into fastboot mode & enter fastboot devices, it says "no device found". Therefore I am unable to proceed to install Clockworkmod Recovery. Please help!!!

Gsm or VZW?

It is not GSM so I guess it must be VZW (is that the same as CDMA?). Thank you.

What root procedure are you using? You might try using the CWM method listed in Scary Alien's how to:

Note the naked driver that is listed there. That may be the reason you're not getting recognition in fastboot.

who is your carrier? sprint or verizon?

It's gotta be either the drivers aren't set up, or you have a bad USB cable.

the drivers work for gsm and cdma, just use nakeddriver it works best

It's Verizon. I will try the other drivers as suggested and hopefully that will work!
