I Hope I'm in the right please, if not, please let me know!

So I'm stuck boot looping at the "Google" screen.

Let me tell you how I got there....

I was on mwalt2's 4.04 Stock rooted ROM.

I heard the news about Jelly Bean. Downloaded a Jelly_toro file

Made backup

Wiped data
Wiped cache partition
Wiped Dalvik

Then I got stuck on the google boot screen.

I pulled the batter and tried again. It still didn't work.

So I went to restore my backup and I'm getting the same error.

I don't know what to do now... Any information would be appreciated.

Thank you

Can you boot into recovery from an "off/powered down" phone? Hold both volume up and down then press and hold power button while still holding volume rocker up and down, down. Then navigate with volume rocker to "recovery" then select with power button. You using CWM? To do your restore do a full wipe prior to the restore

Okay I figured it out. I just had to leave the phone alone at the google screen for about 4 minutes. After I got to the Nexus logo and it started fine. The phone is running a little hot though...

make sure you always verify the MD5 of the download that you're going to use. Especially with JB rom because it's so popular i've see a lot of people having to re download it several times due to either a bad download or the download just stopping.

depending on which one you downloaded, you may have a gotten corrupted, which has happened to me, if you are able to reinstall another rom good luck!
if not you may have to restore the system image
