Verizon in Canada

I am headed to Canada for a week and would like to avoid data roaming charges. What changes should I make in the menu of my phone to make this work?

Call Verizon and tell them you're going to Canada. They will adjust your account accordingly. Just tell them you don't want to get hit with roaming while up there.

Thanks for the advice.

for $30 I can get 75mb of data service for the month. That should be enough to get me through a week if I am careful about my usage.

Seems like a simpler solution than buying a Canadian pay as you go phone.
