[Verizon] [KERNEL][4.0.4] LeanKernel 3.10.0 (7/2)

Chopper the dog sends this lock screen icon size reduction mod if any one is interested. I like it. Just make a nandroid first in case you do not.

Here is the after shot

Fixed The Link. The circle is up because I have my thumb on it trying to get a screen shot :-)

Yeah, I was wondering why it was here. Any particular rom requirement at all?

Edit: nvm. I see that it is for aokp. *wonder if it will work on liquid.

I don't think it would "as is", but it never hurts to ask the creator (chopper) in a PM) to see if he'll make up one for ya...worst he can say is "no" :)

Of course, maybe I could take his apart and make it work for my uses. Giving credit where credit is due of course.lol

Thanks gapi. I actually meant, how is the entire set of icons and circle as high as it is. The icon in slot 7 of the octolockscreen setup I have is at the bottom of the screen where as yours has a nice margin.

Idle drain (on wifi with LTE on) is much better on LK 3.1.0 than the stock AOKP b31 kernel.

With b31's stock kernel, I was getting 10% drop in 8 hours. With LK 3.1.0, I'm getting 5% drop in 8 hours. :D

I want to try out the new gamma control stuff. The versioning kind of confuses me.

3.2.1 is stable and does not have gamma control, right?

3.2.1exp1 is the in-progress one working towards 3.2.2 then? I guess I would have called it 3.2.2exp1 -> 3.2.2exp2 -> ... -> 3.2.2 (stable), but that's just me.

So if I need 3.2.1exp1 for the gamma control stuff, how do I know if I want the -180 or -230 kernel? What is the difference between the two?

Also, if I use the exp kernels does it mean I'm automatically using notrim or UV or OC? I basically just want the normal stable defaults of the stable releases but want to try out the gamma control.

*edit* DUH, I should have read the notes on the different exp builds :p

Sweetness! Happy for you =)

I'm in a brightish spot right now but it definitely seems like at gamma 7 the screen looks.much more crisp and the very minimal banding I have is nearly imperceptible now! Definitely a great feature as it allows us to tweak for a more saturated look or less so for.videos. its great for my purposes but I think many will benefit from it as you can further tune the screen. With color brightness, color control and now gamma control we have amazing control over our screens :)

I am seeing noticeable battery savings during screen off times during the day with LK 3.2.1.

With WiFi & LTE enabled and all my syncing it just does not move. I usually have to keep an eye on it just in case and I am impressed how little it moves now.

I am definitely seeing this as well. Idle drain is next to nothing, it's kind of amazing. I still feel like my battery drains awfully fast during even light use, though. I keep my brightness all the way down unless in direct sunlight and then up to less than 50%, and I'm mainly using boid for twitter, g+, and chrome. I feel like I can just sit and watch the battery tick away while the screen's on. Guess there's nothing to be done about it.
