[Verizon] Missing contacts issue

This may or may not be root related, but the problem seems associated with something after doing a wipe and installing a different rom.

I added several new contacts on my Nexus and at the time I was on JB Sourcery 5.x. I added them and saved them to my Google (Gmail) account. Then I upgraded to a newer version of JB Sourcery 5.1.5 (something like that) and then I did a wipe and installed XenonHD's latest version and that is where I am at now. A couple of days ago I went to find one of those new contacts I entered and it was not in my contacts...actually none of them are.

Anyone got any suggestions on what might have happened?

Did you have Sync enabled on the ROM you had previously? And if so, did you allow it to sync before you switched ROMs?

EDIT: To be safe, before I switch ROMs, I go into my Account settings and sync all of my accounts

That very well could have been what happened. Sometimes when my battery starts taking a big hit in one day I turn off sync and I bet that is what happened. I entered those new ones and didn't have sync turned on and it never synced to my Google account...crap!
