[Verizon] Nandroid Noob

I'm unlocked and rooted and I did it before the one-click method so I do have a modicum (a tiny bit) of skillz. I would like to back up the whole phone which I believe means do a Nandroid backup. How do I do that? I do have ROM Manager.

You need to boot into clockwork mod recovery and use the backup option in recovery.

If you use rom manager it will prompt you to flash it and do it all within the OS.

I finally got around to messing with this. Am I correct that you have to flash CWM, you can't just boot to it? Is there a way to easily un-flash CWM and restore the normal bootloader?

Again I'm using ROM Manager.

Yes, you can just boot into ClockworkMod, but you'll have to do it from fastboot (via fastboot boot <cwm-recovery-img-name>) or flash it (fastboot flash recovery <cwm-recovery-img-name>).
