Verizon Pre-order, Release date, and speculation thread

I am in chicago all week, I won't get mine until I get back. Mine was shipped yesterday and will be delivered tomorrow. Its sitting about 50 miles from my house. I could really use the phone for all the drunken pictures I was taking last night.

I ordered day one, 32gb blue, and received email yesterday that the phone was on the way.

Charge card was charged yesterday.

Should be here Friday by 7pm.

I live in NY.

My order is also in the 40s got my CC charged yesterday but upon checking the site , nothing , no tracking number just the normal ship by 07/09. got no email as well.

only thing is fedex doesnt give any tracking info when i put tracking # on their site.

so i think if your CC got charged yesterday chances are your shiping email is on the way and your package shipped yesterday i am hoping i get it by friday that would be awesome!!!

Happy Independence day everyone! All you lucky ducks getting emails today. I have the pre-authorization charge on my cc, and no change in the status today. Hopefully I will get an email today in regards to an update. I did order the 32gb white too.

I ordered mine the 13th and get my CC charged and got delivery information... it is probably just a matter of time for you know.

well thats a relief i guess. I ordered mine on the 11th and the best i got so far is a pending charge on my card.

I don't believe your package is ground shipment anymore. It has been upgraded to FEDEX Air Freight. See my post previous to yours.

Sorry misunderstanding here, never said it was coming ground. It is 2nd day delivery. But when I ship ground from work to a location not far away it gets there next day. That is where I mentioned ground.

So either Friday or Monday with a chance I could pick it up Saturday at the Fedex main location here in Virginia Beach.

Yes, my ship date changed from "Ship by July 9th" to "Expected Ship Date 7/11". When I last checked it also said that order is processing and that my card has not been charged yet.

I ordered at just after 9:00 a.m. EST on the 6th and still no movement. Credit card hasn't been charged yet, and no shipping confirmation either.

Still hoping to get it by Friday, but knowing my luck I'm sure Verizon will screw this up somehow...

I think you're putting in the wrong number. If using the "ordered from store" search then use the order number. You can also use the "ordered from the website online" search, but then use the preorder number. And, no, I ordered from a store on 6/6 and nothing has changed for me.

I ordered mine a day before you and I don't have any cc activity or shipping info. BUT, I'm not going to get my panties in a bunch like many of you are. They told me ship by 7/9, and unlike some of you I'll wait until they don't meet THAT deadline before I start my baby whining.

Excellent choice by VZW releasing these early... i am generally the first to give them the finger but it looks like they will be the only carrier with a smooth release (fingers crossed)

its coming , dont you worry i was the same as you last night while others got their email and where getting delivery by the 5th i sat there in agony till this morning. check your Credit card to see if it has been charged, if it has then it may have already shipped but verizon is having a lag in their system and thats why you havent got your email yet.

Mine shipped yesterday yet i only got the email 1 hour ago.

My shipment info appears to be at a standstill since last night so FEDEX must not be doing any updating on their end. They actually shipped my phone to a place that's about 20 miles to the west of West Chester, PA and seem to be letting it spend the night there. It actually went further away from me. Figures.

Yep mine too. Im guessing they will be in newark tomorrow and out for delivery from newburgh friday
