Verizon Pre-order, Release date, and speculation thread

False. What the nexus got banned for was universal search. BB employees are clueless as to that. Has nothing to do with s-voice vs siri.

Actually could be better odds especially with today being a holiday they do not update their system which means that it most likely was sent yesterday along with the others that got shipping emails and is just taking longer to register in the system. I have had multiple times where an item showed up before the tracking # showed any info on the site.

You got your email today, the 4th? Cool, then there's still hope that I may get mine.

BUT, if it says shipped it may mean that Feded got the shipping info from VZ , not that it really shipped, and 2 day shipping may mean it actually ships tomorrow, so may not be delivered for 2 days, i.e. Monday.

Let me know what you're tracking info says, thx

Yeah. Fedex sometimes gets "shipping information" but doesn;t really have it yet, that's when it says tracking number not found. So, fedex may have the shipping info today but it may not ship until tomorrow, which unfortunately 2 nd day delivery would be Monday since I don't think Saturday counts.

I don't know for sure if it will be here by 3 pm on the 5th like it says. My shipping seems odd.

How Strange!

I went to FEDEX to check my tracking for the hell of it and it actually updated with a different location since I checked this morning. The FEDEX computers must have gotten bogged down or there's a skeleton crew working today. My package actually moved from Coatesville, PA to Linwood, PA late last night. Some driver didn't get the 4th of July off.

OMFG, My S3 is now South of Philly and it's Origin. My freakin' phone has got to be on a Philly Tour Bus or something.

Yeah i got a bit over excited. The order status page on Verizon says it shipped on the 3rd but fedex says they have no Information regarding my order.

The problem regarding this is that on the other VZW page, they say my order wont ship until the 5th. Either way i am happy so im not complaining.

That's not odd at all. It left the origin, the warehouse where they have been kept and then arrived at a distribution center. Both of those places are in Memphis. Using a more localized example, if you ship something from a FedEx/Kinko's location in a city with a Fedex center you will see the same thing.
 
Received VZ email about an hour ago, phone has shipped 7/03, but no Fedex tracking info (not found) as yet. It was showing your order is being processed for about 12 hours before I finally got the ship email. So be patient, if you ordered on the first day, yours likely shipped on Monday like mine apparently did. :)

What is this "OTHER VZW page for which you speak?

I have been using the status page from the confirmation email that I received. Is there another that I should watch madly? :) :( :) :(

My very sad birthday continues as I still have nothing..:(. Keep those :beerglass:'s coming rushmore as they help ease my pain. The BBQ is all good brother!!

Lol my my tracking page looks exactly the same, except mine is suppose to be going to Philadelphia. I doubt the package will move from linwood until midnight or tomorrow.

I bought the buy back and Best Buys insurance. Otherwise I would (still could) buy directly from Verizon. If for some reason I don't like this phone I can go to best buy trade in my S3 get $300 and buy another phone off contract.
