Verizon Pre-order, Release date, and speculation thread

So far, I haven't seen any Texas shipments ~and just my case there has been allow me to believe this is a regional conspiracy as to why I have yet to be blessed with confirmation emails ~ lol....

Kinda reminds me of black Friday actually. I'm pouring my double vodka a and cranberry to calm sorrows now.

Buy back and Insurance ain't gonna' help if they don't get you a phone to use in the 1st place. Check Mate!
 
I thought Verizon never ships early? ;)

My ship by is the 10th and I hope they don't ship mine till Friday because I don't have the cash atm!

When I got up this morning I had already received an e-mail confirming 2-day FedEx shipping. My phone has also left on it's journey. Projected arrival on 9 July.

Edit: Every other phone I have ordered from Verizon has been shipped overnight....

Nope nothing for me yet either, so it's not just a Houston thing...guess it's a Texas thing. Frankly, I think us Texans should have gotten the international version a month ago with everyone else as everyone here thinks Texas is it's own country.

Now off to go drink a Lone Star beer. Their slogan..."The National Beer of Texas." No joke.

To be fair though, I didn't order until the 22nd, so I wasn't really expecting it any sooner.

I've been trying that one for a week now, always with the same message when entering my info:

"We are experiencing technical difficulties, please check back later"

I'm guessing because it's a business account, but I'm not sure.

Are you using the long preorder confirmation # for the order # and clicking how you ordered it?

Yes. I actually ordered it through a Verizon Wireless Authorized Retailer (Wireless Zone), so that's probably the issue.

Got the confirmation e-mail from Verizon right after it was ordered though.
 
So...the verizon rep thinks I might not get mine till Tuesday due to the fires in colorado... I'm hoping that FedEx accepts the shipment tomorrow(Verizon said it has shipped, but in reality it hasn't yet... just checked in) and gets it to me by friday or monday at the latest. Kinda odd that some that ordered later will have theirs tomorrow! Congrats to those that will have them tomorrow, you'll have to keep us updated on how they are. :D

That'll ruffle a few feathers...

As long as my 6/13 order ships by the 10th as promised that's all I care about. There's obviously no hope for it being here by this Friday, so what's another day or two...

All I can say is I'm sure glad they're charging $30 to upgrade on top of the price, THEN dropping overnight shipping...
