Verizon released 4.3 update

I just updated my phone. Let's see what happens. Lol Hopefully the bugs have been worked out.

I read on another forum where, after updating to 4.3 (Verizon S3), the free Hotspot was gone. Can someone confirm this? Gosh, I hope not.

Mobile hotspot is located in the more settings section. I don't see anything that says knox.

Yes the Knox boot loader is included according to this article:

Pretty much DONT update if you plan on rooting. Custom roms for the s3 are at 4.4.2 now anyway

Came from the lg motion a month ago or so. A locked bootloader is a no go for me. I'm on cm10.2 so I have 4.3 anyways. Just like to know what I'm missing.

I downloaded it. So far I see no more live thumbnails for the videos, and a different looking calculator.

Edit: I see the live thumbnail, but stock browser sucks

I really cannot tell of any speed improvements, but I did move a lot of apps to my SD card. Cannot tell about battery life yet.

I just updated and yes its still there.

Reboot into download mode. If your phone has Knox you will see a new line that says Knox warranty void: 0x0 or 0x1.

I just downloaded and like it much more. It seems easier to use and we can finally customize the toggle in the notification bar. And they got rid of that little cross hair for GPS which was an eye sore. I haven't checked any things but the menus seem easy as well. Good stuff. I'll keep an eye on this thread and see if people find some cool new features or options. Wow and Verizon actually let us keep blocking mode this time

I second that. I need Hotspot when I'm in the pocs; can't access internet w/o it there in the boonies.

They changed the size of the pattern lock grid, I think... Seems that the dots are closer together. I don't remember it having "Draw your unlock pattern" above the grid, and emergency call text area seems larger now too.

Other than that I haven't noticed anything odd. Finally putting the WiFi toggle back where it's suppose to be is nice...

Oh... Just realized that the Talkback hand didn't pop up on start up! It had been popping up in notifications on every start up since the 1st JB update on my phone.
