[Verizon] [ROM][4.0.4] AOKP ICS B40/M6/Mods (7/8)

Stupid Google maps is showing everything in km now that I moved to a downtown area. I know it's not rom related, but does anybody know how do get it to show miles instead?

So on unreleased official and Liquid's.. and you're back to AOKP?

I loved Liquid's on my OG Droid. AOKP still head of the pack though?

I'm on M3. I have to flash a new kernel (my phone's not liking Franco 16.2) so I may go to Build 22 or just wait.

Beta 4 Liquid and unofficial official 4.0.4. Both very nice ran each for 24 hours. AOKP is a more complete ROM than both. Not as fast overall, but more polished imo.

I'm on M3 now too. Have you tried 1.10 imoseyon. It's pretty sweet, fast, ran it on Liquid and am now testing exp version on M3. Nothing I've run can touch franco 13.1 ..... yet :)
 
Quick torch alone was worth the wipe.

I can't seem to get the Weather in Statusbar to work at all.

Will continue to tinker.
 
Sweetness Protekk ported this to the Inc and Romanbb supports it. Flashing my wifes Inc today she's been jealous of the creamed sandwich.

Backing up now elmer does 23 add any speed to the overall experience? I'm hoping as development for this continues it doesn't get too bloated because it's so complete and polished.
 
No additional speed that I've noticed, but I had a meeting just a few minutes after flashing that I had to go to, so my tinkering was halted momentarily. I'm back now and will report back later on.

If anyone flashes 23 and figures out the weather setting, clue me in.
 
Got the weather mod sorted out.

For Custom Location, only enter a zip code.

I had my city, state, and zip entered, and I wasn't seeing the weather on my pulldown. Tried disabling custom location, rebooted, no profit. Changed custom location to zip only, unchecked and rechecked custom location, and that fixed the problem.

i have protkecs ported build of this on the inc2 and omg is my mom hateing it haha nothing works but then again its a port not built from code for that phone
 
also is this 4.0.4 like promased?

i am on stock rooted 4.0.4 ... and missing all my customizations but i will not go back to 4.0.3 because i am loving how smooth and fast 4.0.4 is
 
AHHHHHHH noooooo darn ... as far as i know there are no 4.0.4 roms out yet i have looked haha but i am good for now with what i can do with this ... but its killling me
 
I've never understood the "new" GApps. They're the same apps, what's different? I don't even bother downloading em. Running the same ones from 17

4.0.4 AOSP isn't out yet. Until it is, AOKP and others won't have a 4.0.4-based ROM (except hacks of the 4.0.4 OTA).

yeah i know i know... and i am wondering what is taking Google so long to get it out i mean we had 4.0.3 before we knew that we were getting it...

i am wondering if they are waiting for 4.0.3 OTA to go out before releasing 4.0.4 or if they are skipping 4.0.3 all together which would be strange conceding that they have said that 4.0.3 is going to be the stable base for all ICS phones

they are not new they just update them and repackage them because i dont think some of them update when flashed in a rom that is all
 
Does anybody have a link to a kernel that works best with this Rom? I have franco 13 now but i'm having some issues. I know there are a few good ones im just not sure where to find them
