Me too. Still running M3 with franco 13.1 . I dnld'd M4 a few days ago but dont thinl im going to flash it now with all the poor reporting.

I only hop ship for 2 days at a time trying out CM, miui, BB, and liquids latest iterations. Have to check out the goods. I always come back home to aokp though.:)

I installed Axiom Crossbreed this morning and so far I'm pretty impressed with it and the stock kernal. I've been using the GPS and 4G today and it's holding up pretty well so I'm eager to see how much life ill get tomorrow with no GPS usage.
 
In case ya'll were wondering.

I flashed my B27 nandroid last night. And the days of 6-8 hours of battery are now long gone.

All normal use, down to 45% after 17 hours.

Lost 3% over night while sleeping on B27, vs 13% over night on M4.

There's massive battery issue with M4.

I just did my first ever sleep test and with Axiom Crossbleed I lost 14% over 9 hours. I have nothing to compare it to yet, but it looks to be worse than your B27

So random and odd. M4 has been nothing short of stellar battery life for me. Hoping newer build 28 might fix it for you guys ;)

I am sad to say M4 on my device is pretty noticeably poor in comparison to previous builds.

I have been using it in the field and have to pretty much keep an eye on it.

Yeah I'm torn between the work to wipe/flash b27/restore and just waiting b28 out to see if it has fixed the battery issues w/M4. I mean, granted once I went to LK 2.5.0 w/M4 the battery has been better than I was seeing with M4+francoM1, but not as good as I've seen. I flashed 2.6.0 tonight and will see how the idle drain is over night w/M4.
 
Just out of curiousity... how many of you guys on M4 complaining about the battery life are on the stock kernel?

I am, and I actually found it to be a lot more stable than M3.

I've been running the stock kernel since I flashed M4 the day it came out. It was so good I stuck with it. Flashed imo's 2.5.0 about 3 days later and crushed my little battery into oblivion so I went back to stock kernel and have stuck with it since. It's excellent for me.

I hear you. I'll try anything I guess. One never knows. You have to admit, we used to see several bragging screen shots a day.

I'm not going to revert I decided. I'll stick it out.
 
w00t! b28! And no wipe required from M4...SOLD!

Now...to give the stock b28 kernel a go or stick with LK 2.6.0...HMMM
 
Well of course he'll say that. It's like dentists giving you the OMG YOU SHOULD FLOSS MORE speech when you go.

I'll try dirty to b28. If it doesn't work well, I'm going to try a different ROM.

Interesting to see everyone having issues with battery in M4. I thought it was my phone/kernel, but looks like it was the ROM.
