the adamthecashew version has custom backlight settings. He IS paert of Team Kang, so I don't see a problem with it.

I'm getting KILLER battery life. AOKP Build 1(cashew version), leankernel 4.3.0 230exp1 undervolted. my phone has been off the charger for 4 hours and i'm at 90% battery. I've actually been using my phone too. tapatalk and i sent a few texts.
 
Does anyone here use AOKP backup? Curious if it backs up APN settings? I know this is the VZW forum, but figured I may get an answer here quicker.

I'm going to run the kernel that came with it for a few days, let it break in. If its horrible, I'll give leankernel a try. I've been playing with my phone way too much to determine if battery life is bad.

Back on aokp from CNA. I liked all the customizations in codename, but it would let my phone go into deep sleep no matter which kernel I used. Even after using cpu spy to diagnose it, it was not an app. The customizations are almost the same now anyways, just a few missing between the two. Been running it on my nexus 7 all along though.
 
Any known bugs with Build 1? I was AOKP guy back before JB and then switched to Jelly Belly pretty much day 1. I REALLY miss my AOKP customizations and speed so I'm itching to get back but I don't want to sacrifice batter, GPS, wifi, 4g, other things that sometimes go wrong with builds. Anyone care to chime in with any issues they've found thus far?

I've been trying for months to get Play Movie to work on my GNex; Team Kang has confirmed they don't work on toro, which means they shouldn't work for you, which makes it a miracle, hence the worship

Oh Haha yeah it works on mine too! I understand the confusion though...the titles look so similar and a lot of the same people posting, we're bound to post in the wrong one haha
 
Flashed JB1 a couple hors ago. Google actually rst my apps this time but i still had to Tibu some to avoid redoing as a noob. Anyone know how often google backs up our apps n settings??

I have not flashed build 1. Waiting for Google Movies fix. Don't want to pester Roman but...Merge, merge, merge!
 
Hi guys, Mercy, I have used Wugs rooter to do a total wipe back to factory and then a fresh root, more wiping, flashed the 404 radios, the JB boot loader, wiped again, JB1, and Gapps, and I am still stuck at the Animation for this thing.

Back on the nightly's it was the same for this one and CNA.

It is still looping as I type going on 30 minutes now. This thing is beating on me pretty good.

I am open to suggestions.
