[Verizon] [ROM]JDX (formerly Jelly Belly) AOSP+ - v15 (7/28)

14.1 - so far so good. have to admit to having 'less than stellar' battery life with 14.0 (stock kernel) but I couldn't pin down any particular issue/cause. hoping for better with 14.1.
J.

Ryan, I flashed this and about three other ROMs and I had to go back to Stock 4.3, flashed via fastboot.

(Disclaimer: Flashed it on my Nexus 4, the mako build of course, as I no longer have a Galaxy Nexus.)

Jakeday has failed to fix Google Wallet on the N4 since 13.x and that is a deal breaker for me.

Other ROMs are not being built the way I like so I guess I'll just wait for AOKP and run stock for now.

Sorry for the slight highjack. I know it runs great on the GNex. Wish I could say the same for the N4.

JMar, i don't blame you for that one, it was a deal breaker for me on the Nexus when it wasn't working. Any idea what is broken on wallet and the N4?... I have the most recent apk if you wanted to try to reinstall just wallet. I am currently missing the leankernal i like, but sure it will be available soon.
Otherwise, I am not seeing any glaring issues..

When you go to open it, it says it is incompatible. Side loading doesn't change that. So you can never actually open the app. This is different from the warning message at the top of the app which does allow for use of the app.

I just installed JDX v15. Hadn't updated for a while so I'm really enjoying the update. I noticed that neither my network indicator nor my WiFi indicator turn blue when data is running through. In previous versions it would start off grey but turn blue when it connected to the web. Not sure if something is wrong or if this is just aesthetics. If the latter, am I able to change it so that its blue? Lol, I know, this isn't very important. Thanks for the help tho!

In case anyone else has this issue, it in fact means something is wrong and likely with Google servers I'm guessing related to sync and your phone. While I had fixed permissions when I first flashed I went ahead and did it again and its fixed. My mobile network indicator is now blue and all my notifications are working as is everything else. :)

Hi Zetroc, sorry no one else has popped along to answer your question. I volunteer! :D

Yes, the indicators tell you you're connected to the world and how well... the blue indicates that you're synced to Google's servers. Everything's blue now: you're happy, Google's happy, your Nexus is happy.

:)

Hey there,

I moved your thread here so it could be in a more appropriate home. Hope that's cool with you. Super glad your device is working as it should.

I went from Sourcery...the latest (and discontinued) build. Been on it for months it feels like. But flashed this last night.

Feels snappy. I usually run stock kernel for a few days or so before i start changing ( messing up :)) suff. But whats up with expanded desktop? Is it not available yet on 4.3? Because its still showing up as an option in JDX settings to enable, but im not finding out how to get it to actually work.

My 4g indicator was also grey when i rebooted following the initial flash of this ROM. It went away after I rebooted again.

With me, after I peform the 1st boot into a new rom, i do a few swipes, test it out, upload some basic/normal apps. Then reboot to get it all synced and running properly.

15.1 and new GAPPS avail... Dated 8/28..
Installed and running great... No issues so far.
Please clean install if you can since there is a new gapps... Otherwise flash at own risk.
