Ok, so I was installing v13.1 of JDX. Here's what I did: rebooted into recovery, wiped cache (and Dalvik, just for good measure). Flashed JDX v13.1 ROM and then flashed the GApps file.

YouTube is missing, so I looked it up on the Play Store and hit install, but when it's done downloading and goes into the "installing" it says "incompatible update". And I can't install YouTube... how can I fix this? I really would like to avoid having to wipe data and flash the whole thing... any suggestions!? Thanks!

This should probably be posted/moved to the JDX thread (Mod?)
To answer your question, I would make sure you have the 2/14 version of the gapps and reflash at least the gapps (could reflash both if you want after wiping cashe and dalvik again), then run fix permissions after that.. reboot and see what you get.
I just did v13.1 today with the 2/14 gapps (dirty) over v13... so far no problems. hope this helps and let us know if you need more help.

Guide Note: Thread merged here. Thanks for the heads up!:D

As far as the issue, your instructions are good ones. I've had to do the exact thing you described and had it work. Be sure the correct GApps get flashed. Use Jake's GApps and nothing else. Specific to this ROM FWIW.

So having some issues this week.

Both on 13.0 and on 13.1. Bluetooth and Audio volumes are failing and really low or not usable at all.

If anyone was having issues with either, and already tried a clean install...Jakeday put out an Audio Fix file to help. Hopefully this will be included in future versions, but might help now if you need it:

Check out post #2 for the file:
JDX V 13.1

And here is the actual downloaded file in my dropbox:
JDX v13.1 Audio Fix File

I did as suggested, wiped the cache, dalvik, flasshed Gapps (2/14, and I even check the md5 to make sure), and nothing. Once it's downloaded from the Play Store and it attempts to install, it says "Incompatible update".

Hi zetroc. Let me make sure I am following so we can see what to do to help.
You are trying to make sure that YouTube gets installed, and right now it's not working?
If you have TIBU, I would recommend un installing the app in there first. Then reboot to recovery, wipe cache and dalvik cache and fix permissions. Then reboot and then install YouTube directly from the GPlay store.
If that still does not get you the app, my only other suggestion would be to do a completely clean install of the ROM and Gapps. It sounds like something is not meshing with your gapps files... And just make sure you are installing the 13.1 for toro (VZW nexus) and the 2/14 Gapps. Both files are available on Goo.im or the Goo app, or in the OP on my Dropbox link.
Please keep us updated!

Just wanted to update after my audio Fix install... Back to perfect. Excellent fix... That said, I am not sure why this fix worked, since it just puts the audio code back to 4.1x levels? There must be something bad in the 4.2.2 audio codes that is faulty maybe.. I am sure the Devs will figure it out before VZW..but still. Hopefully the fix will be built in or fixed in the next build!
How is everyone else doing with this ROM? Still using it? Running well?

I love it! Used the Audio Fix and I cannot complain!

YouTube is the only app that I have problems with. I will have to double check if I made a back up when I did this flashing. It was a dirty flash and I don't remember if I did a back up... I know, don't judge me! lol. I didn't think there was gonna be a problem. But I did install the correct files. YouTube just won't install. :(

Can I dirty flash the new GAPPS on top of 13.1 and the old GAPPS or will that cause problems?

Sorry I missed this. I wiped dalvik and cache and installed the new gapps... Then a fix permissions and a reboot. All of my apps appear to be functional, so take that for what it's worth...
Always good to have a backup somewhere.

I am sorry you are still having issues. I know you said you didn't always want to do a clean flash, but if you can hold out, it's possible we may see an update soon. At this point, I would recommend a clean flash. Make sure you are on the newest recovery before you flash!

I am not having any issues with the new 13.2. I am jumping back and forth between my GNex and the Note 2 right now, so I have not given it a 100%, but man if I could get JDX on the Note 2....life would be amazing.
