Root [Verizon] Scrolling Through Text in Comment Boxes

Hi. I have a generic question. Does anyone know how to scroll through a comment box which for example is used in surveys,
I would like to scroll through my text to make sure that my grammar and punctuation is correct before submitting it. Sometimes the response may be pretty lengthy.
I know you can scroll by the normal swiping of the touch screen method ordinarily; however, this does work well when you have a small box that hides the rest of your text as you are typing a lengthier comment.
Please be as specific as possible if there is a way to do so.
Thank you.

Not unless there's a slider with a "thumb". But that's got to be set up on the web page, it's not something that can be done on the user end.

Which is one reason I prefer being here on my laptop. I type my answer in Typonese then I look back and translate the errors (and there are usually lots of them - the cataract in one eye hides a lot of mistakes while I'm typing) into English. (I still miss a few - when I look at an old post, I wonder "how could I have not noticed that?")

But on my phone? I wouldn't want to cause anyone the pain it would cause to read what I typed out on my phone.

Thank you Rukbat. I didn't think there was a solution and appreciate your response. I see your point regarding using a different device as I normally use my desktop when I need to compose some serious text. Just thought I could quickly respond or give feedback on my Note 2.

I hope your cataract is ripe and you can take care of your it as eyes are so important. Thanks again.

Just one more note. I do like the way this site is set up - clear and concise.
