[Verizon] VZW JB ROM: speakerphone volume very low

My wife asked me to upgrade her VZW Galaxy Nexus to Jelly Bean so she didn't have to wait the presumably long time for the update to be available on Verizon. Everything went well and she's enjoying it so far. With one exception.

She uses speakerphone a lot and the output volume in JB seems to be very low. On ICS, it was perfect. Loud enough for her to hear the other person even with our son on her lap babbling loudly. Now, however, she has to hold the phone near her ear to hear it, which defeats the purpose of leaving her hands free to deal with the baby.

Is this a problem with JB in general, a problem with this ROM (Team Vicious) in particular, or her phone? Anyone have any insights or suggestions on how to fix it?

Low audio seems to be a common problem so far with all the JB versions. I have tried Volume+ and have NEVER gotten it to work...volume is still the same. Volume is low on speaker, headset, and ringtones. So, it's not just your wife's phone, we all seem to have the low audio issue...hopefully it will get fixed, because it sure is annoying :(

It doesn't look like it will do anything for speaker volume, but some have reported marginal success with it. I'm curious enough to look at it, but not enough to try it. Hopefully someone will have tried this on a VZW phone.
