[Verizon] Waiting for device...

[Codec]

trying to unlock the bootloader, and i am on the command prompt and i type in, fastboot oem unlock, and it just says waiting for device and i went into device manager and didn't see anything that said android, just unknown device, i guess that is it but when i clicked update driver just got an error

you need to installed the naked driver for it,
reboot the phone as normal
if it installs the device, uninstall it
and install the naked driver, and then your bootloader will work
