or if you want to keep the stock rom but dont want that update popup...... just freeze the software update and you wont get notified anymore

of course if a different ROM is what you want then I agree for stock Malladus is probably the best

that was my daily before I switched back to Stock

I use Titanium Backup to freeze it........ Im sure there are other ways as well but TB is the easiest

youre looking for Software Update MUC.... thats what you want to freeze

I decided to give 4.4.2 AOKP a try. The just put out a 2/1 nightly, so I went ahead and flashed it. AOKP was my favorite with my Gnex, so Im gonna stick with this until they put out a stable/milestone, and ride that out.

I'm running Malladus. It's stock but with some custom tweaks. Personally the only thing I would like from a CM ROM would be theme engine. This phone has a few LG apps that I actually like using and the stock theme isn't too bad. There are some neat tweaks happening with the Xposed app that allows you to theme the stock ROM.

I'm on the sprint version (ls980), by far the best kk on our side of the pond.

Thats good to hear, Ill have to give it another shot, I had an issue with it working right, dont remember why. I tried AOKP and Mahdi after, but I had issues with both. AOKP was quite unstable for me, more so than the typical KK freeze due to titanium backup... and with Mahdi, I liked it a lot but I was having issues getting the camera and mostly gallery to work well. The camera was pretty good, little glitchy at times... but the gallery would rarely work.

Also, on all KK roms I tried, I was unable to get a properly working mod to hide the navbar and have a slide up like with Autohide. I found another app that did the same thing, but both would crash a lot with the 4.4 roms.

OK, here we go again. I was having huge wakelock issues back with 4.2.2 malladus. No idea why because it was a damn nandroid backup. But I got quite irritated, so I decided to try another KK rom. I went with OmniRom v1.8 and so far, I love it. With Immersive mode, I have no need to fool around with Autohide/etc and Im also running a beta KK Nova launcher.

CM11 2/7/14 build works great for me. Everything works that I can tell except double tap to wake phone (I use volume wake option anyways). No reboots either.
