Verizon's Vehicle Mount - no 3-pin connection!

I'm about to put through an order on one of these british sites, because I want this thing sooooo bad. Does anyone who lives near Canada know if there's Bell stores that have these things on display? Anyone with an LTE Nexus want to bring theirs over the border and see if it fits for me?

What is the difference? I know the three pins but what does that do that the other doesnt?
A possible reason that the gsm version of the dock may not work w/ verizon galaxy (and i dont know if it does or not) is that the battery for the LTE version is about 100 mAh more than the one for the GSM. So any device w/ an integrated charger may not be dual compatible.
I don't know; just saying...

The difference in battery capacity will have no impact on the ability to charge the phone through the 3 pin connection; almost every smartphone uses a 5V charger. The only thing that varies is the current and that is pulled by the device, the charger only dictates the max current that it can deliver. However, the difference in capacity could mean that the dimensions are off to the point where the LTE version won't fit in the charger and make a connection with the 3 pin.
