Root very quick help :(

Revolutionary by itself doesn't root your phone, but it gives you custom recovery and hence ability to flash either the Superuser app (separate zip on their site) to gain root on current ROM, or flash a custom ROM that (by definition) will be rooted.

Edit : or wot Rasta said - shouldn't you get a "Recognised Troubleshooter" title or something?

Indeed. You dont need root to flash a custom rom. You just need custom recovery. Once S-off and a custom recovery in place, you can flash any rooted rom over your unrooted one.

now how to be careful on root? do i just make sure each app doesent seem suspicious in what it needs?

i pressed nandroid backup, 5 minutes later it said backup complete, so i think i did lol

how the heck do i get themes on gingerbread, im assuming download the zips and flash them, it only comes with one
