Today in America we take a brief moment to Honor our Men and Women Who Serve or Have Served in our Armed Forces. I personally would like to take a moment to Honor My Dad who served during the Vietnam War.

If you are serving or have served I would Like to say THANK YOU for defending my freedom.

It's easy to look away on something like this.

Politics and Hallmark celebrations for everything seems to make it easy.

And yet, a moment to remember all those who put themselves in harms way for the common good is a small thing.

Know a vet? Call them up - say thanks. Ask how are ya.

Lest we forget.

BTW - this is also Remembrance Day in some places like Canada and Armistice Day elsewhere.

My FIL is a WW2 vet. He served in Saipan. The stories he tells are amazing. It's like it all happened yesterday. He's a walking history book. Thanks Dad. Thanks Vets.
