Viber is here for Android (update at post 65)!!!

The link works on the computer. Can't you copy it from your computer to the tablet and then install from there?
 
Can someone help me I've been trying to play a movie from my sd card and also dl directly to the player but I keep getting the same message, open file unable to find this application. Unit won't let me play a movie I even reset the unit like the samsung tech said and then I dl the android movie player app no luck. If anyone could tell me the problem and what I'm doing wrong I'm greatfully apprecitive. Help!!!!!!!!! he even told me it could be the player tempting to take it back to the store but trying all options first.

Are you trying to install Viber on an SD Card or on the Tablet's own memory?
What error are you getting trying to install?
 
I just wanted to update the people from Viber that my issue is now back again. Some of my conversation histories have grown very long once again after the re-install and loading them takes ages.
Is anyone else having this issue? It happens with the latest version of Viber.

Thanks for the update.
We're working these days on a major new version (2.2) that will hopefully be released soon. This version should solve this issue.

By the way - have you opened a support ticket back then when you first came across this problem? If not, please let me know and I'll provide you with the link :)
 
Could you tell me if this new version is being released soon? As within this week soon? Otherwise I will have to delete my conversation history once again. :(

Yes, I opened a ticket the last time this happened.

Unfortunately it won't be a week away. We still don't have an exact estimate, but it'll probably take more than just a few weeks.

Great, so they already have the info and rest assured that they're working hard to fix this issue.
 
Any news of consideration for changing the colour of the icon in the release, for when Viber is NOT connected ? When outdoors, grey is just too similar to purple.

Please note that Viber does not officially support your device yet, and that may be the reason for the problems you are experiencing. Here is the full list of officially supported devices: Can't download from Android market... | Viber Support

We are continuously working to adapt Viber to more and more devices, and we hope to attend to the problems with your device soon. We apologize for the inconvenience :(

Also, where does Viber store the pictures taken directly within Viber? I can't find them anywhere.

Edit: Found it. Don't know why I could never find it up until now. Embarrassing...

Lol, we're glad you found it ;)
Our new version is in the final stages of development and testing. If all goes as planned, it should be ready and available soon (hopefully up to a couple of weeks).

Viber for android is now available for download you can download it from Google Play. Just go to the Google Play, and in search box enter the keyword "Viber for android".

I have one problem with the update. It keeps on turning on, even if I exit it. Contact sync is disabled. Could just be me. I am running a custom ROM, Android Revolution 6.3.3, so consider this as feedback and not a complaint.
 
I try to open my viber and the screen goes black for a couple of seconds then it exits the app and i get a notification saying viber has crashed...click here to help fix the issue I click it and nothing happens it just sends another notification
