Its a messanger, caller that uses internet instead of your call/sms allowance. The other person has to have it installed for it to work. My wife likes it. Its ideal for people with unlimited data :thumbup:

Yes, the battery consumption issue has been addressed in our latest version 3.x, and should be much improved now. Try it out and let us know if you feel the difference as well

Hey vibermedia i am facing a strange problem
I am unable to set my profile picture in viber its shows an error (you dont have enough space clear some space and try again etc) but the fact is i have almost 800mb free space on my phone... and the real problem starts afterwards ... after trying for profile pic i went back to storage and it was showing me 0 mb free space... then i restarted my phone then it become normal once again.
Please help me... my phone is huawei ascend y300 (4.1.1)

Quick question about the app Viber on android:
Normally on android, it shows in your contacts, when you can reach them with different apps, for example when a contact has What's App installed, it shows this in his contacts right below his phone number.
However, this is not the case for Viber, for me at least. Even though Viber itself recognizes other Viber users just fine (so i can see the other viber users from my contacts in the actual Viber app), the viber link does not show up for these contacts on the actual phone contacts app, whereas linked Skype or Whats App accounts for example DO show up.
Hope this is somewhat understandable and would really appreciate an answer on this, whether this is normal and if not, how it can be solved

since the 1st September here in Mauritius instead of 7numbers we have 8 so we have to put +2305......I have unistalled viber on my mobile phone now im unable to install it as they are not taking the 5 in consideration. could you please make the verification...awaiting for an answer as I really need viber on my mobile phone

Viber currently does not integrate with Android's native contact list unfortunately. In future versions we hope to bring back this feature, and once we have news we'll let you know.
