My phone came out of the box with settings were it doesn't vibrate when its on silent and a text is received. How do I set it to vibrate when I get a text?

Anyone?
Open the Messages app, select Menu/Settings and look for a "Vibrate" option amongst the notification settings.
Sorry I can't be any more precise but I'm currently using a Sense-less ROM so no HTC apps.

I miss spoke, I had the volume rocket set to vibrate not silent, let me try what slug says.
EDIT: yeah it was just the settings, under messages, sorry everyone thanks, thought I looked there plus, lamer it comes off by default.

That's what we're here for. One of Android's great strengths, its flexibility, can also be a weakness unless you know where every config option hides.
