Help VIBRATE won't turn off..on third phone?

OK. My daughter and I have the same phone. Lg Connect. Bought them at the same time. I've had nothing but problems, hers has been great! Two weeks go by since buying new, and now I'm on my third phone. THE ACCELEROMETER WENT BAD on my original phone. Did an over the counter swap at local dealer with a refurb, and the refurb was bad(random shutdowns), so went to corporate and received ANOTHER phone. Mind you, this was all in one day! My 'new' phone is a refurb, as Metro Corporate told me ALL over the counter swaps under or over 30 days are refurbs. I've read differently in the forums and on their website, and I fought for a new phone with no avail. Anyways... I click on SETTINGS-SOUND SETTINGS-VIBRATE is set to NEVER, my phone will STILL vibrate when i receive any type of notification or text, it'll even vibrate in my ear loud while i'm talking on the phone. My daughters phone does NOT do this, but BOTH of my phones have. Is there something I'm missing here? I've checked all settings with my Phone and hers, and they both are set exactly the same! Could it be a problem with my sim card, considering both of MY phones had the same problem. My old phone was ZV8, and my new phone software is ZVA. My daughters is still zv8, so I know it's not the update or software version related.

There are two vibrate settings. One is in your main settings which I think you are already have off. The othwr is in messaging. Open your text message app without opening any messages and hit the menu key to bring up it's settings. Turn off the vibrate. Good luck.

Thankyou! I'm usually really good with computers and phones and do tons of research, and repairing myself, but this had me stumped! Sometimes all you need is a second brain thinking for you! I'll leave this post up incase anyone else has the same "brain fart". I guess all my running around from store to store had something to do with it!

Come to think of it, wouldn't you think it to be logical that turning the MAIN vibrate feature to 'NEVER' would prevail over the text message feature? IDK Just thinking out loud.

Glad I could help and you are right about the main should overide all. In fact they should just have both in same menu to avoid confusion not to mention is a whole lot more convenient.

Each 4g phone comes with a new sim card for future reference.

When I went for a replacement at a corporate store I watched her use the same sim card. Sorry Token.

That's weird.
Both my attains and my connect all have their own sim cards. I even asked if they could use the card from my bricked attain when I got the new one and was told "no, there's a sim card in the box with every phone, we use that one"
But I didn't go to a corporate store for any of my phones.

I heard the same thing on the Indulge (big sim). The Connect has a little sim. I just looked lol. For $30 replacement you only get the phone. She reused my sim, battery and door.

Same when I got my replacement. Just curious.. Does the attain have the same UICC sim card as the connect?

Thanks, but like everyone is saying on here, they reuse your sim, battery, SD, and back cover when you get a replacement. I received 2 refurbs, from two different stores, and they both told me the same thing. I watched them also.
