Video Call w/o external apps

without having to rely on a 3rd party app (eg. Skype),
is it possible to make a video call using just our galaxy note itself?

how do you go about in doing so,

would love to hear back from you guys !

ps. and on that note, is this only possible from galaxy to galaxy ?

Use Skype. Since video calls are "data calls", needs to be something on both ends that can accept the calls in a compatible way. Right now, there is nothing native in Android for it, so you need to have 3rd party apps. Skype seems to be a fairly good one as it has the largest user base.

No, you need to use a third party app.. It comes wih qik (lite) preinstalled. But requires the person youre calling to have the same.

Yes, you can use the Google Talk app that is pre-installed. Look for it as "Talk" in the app list. It's not limited to Android phones. You can chat with people on tablets, laptops and desktop computers. If the person doesn't have a camera then it's text-only chat.
