Original Wireless G File: http://goo.gl/k88W (In case you want to go back to original and forgot to backup)

1. Place bcm4329.ko on sdcard
2. Get into adb recovery (See 10min Root video for instructions)
3. adb shell
4. su
5. /system/bin/cat /system/lib/modules/bcm4329.ko > /system/lib/modules/bcm4329.ko-orig
6. /system/bin/cat /sdcard/bcm4329.ko > /system/lib/modules/bcm4329.ko
7. /system/bin/ls -l /system/lib/modules/
8. /system/bin/sync
9. /system/bin/reboot

Do most routers broadcast N because where I work I get wifi but I could never get streams to work, maybe they locked the feature? or is it something that only N can do?

hey there, im using windows xp sp3, ive got it into recovery mode with the root method, got the error saying "- exec 'system/bin/sh' failed: No such file or directory <2> -

But im having trouble.

Hopefully you can help me out. I did place that file you gave me in the root of the sd card.

Its a lot easier if you use the mdawg program. i just redid the root process after then added the commands. I could not seem to get su with your method at first.

I used to only get 1.5mb tethering speed which was pretty good, now i get 2.5mb tethering speed with my wireless n notebook card. Sweet thank you! :D

Sweet deal, just gave this a shot. Getting 65mbps transfer rate now :). I assume this might be the cap of the phone since a single channel N device should get 150mbps

will this make file transfers between my laptop and my Inc faster? i'm already maxing out my internet speeds. i'm getting up to 13mbps download and 2 mbps upload speeds using the speedtest app. the weakest link is my internet, which isn't weak. the file transfers between my laptop and phone are not as fast as they could be though. so if this will help that, then i'll do it.

Yes, mine works great. Make sure you keep the bundle of files you rooted with on whatever SD card you're using in your phone. Try a reboot.
