Help Video - Evo app vs Epic app

Android community

I have an Evo (love it) and my daughter has an Epic (loves it). Both make quality video recordings, but the Epic can pause the recording process. I don't think any other android phone can do this.

I'm an engineer, not a programmer, so does anyone know how it might be possible to package the Samsung video app from the Epic and port it over to the Evo? That would turn the Evo into a true video camera.

If I had the capability, I'd do it for everyone, but I don't.

1) is it possible?
2) does someone have the time and skills to do it?

Thanks,

interesting idea....I never noticed it

considering there are apps like vignette and camera360 I bet someone could just make an app with better controls
