Root Video in CM7RC4

Anyone know if CM7RC4 will record 720 video? I can't find a setting for it they only say "High, Low, MMS and YouTube" they dont say the res. I have a 15 month old girl and the videos I am taking are very important to me, I previously switched to sense ROMS for this reason(among others) but since RC4 is out I thought I might try to come back to CM. But as it stands I don't know if it's worth it unless the camera works properly.

I am not sure but you could go to CM's website and see what they have listed there for changes. You could also post on their forums and see if you can get an answer that way.

User Sitlet posted a name of a program that breaks down all of the details. I will find it and link it and then you can use it to check.. in my experience the picture and sound quality of video on soap roms is far superior but I can not confirm they are 720.

To be completely honest with you, if this is THAT important to you, you should be using a real camcorder. We all know the Evo doesnt record very good video at all, and you dont want to regret this in a few years.

MediaInfo. Its a pc program, free. Open up a video in that program, then switch to Text View, then you can copy the results here, or analyze it yourself to see the video's details.

And I'm not sure if CM7 does 720p or not. I know it took a while for them to get it working in CM6, and I havent used cm7 yet.

I am almost positive that 720p video recording is not supported with CM7 RC4. When it was released, I saw several posts on XDA from various users mentioning that it was one of the last things that needed to be worked out before CM7 could go final.

I do use one but I don't always have it with me and the phones good in a pinch. But if Im not recording at its best quality then I should really go back to Warm Two Point Two.
