Having had my SGS2 for a few days, I'm still in awe of the amazing screen.

I've been watching a lot of videos on it, and I wondered if there's any video player apps which enable video cropping. A lot of video content I have is in 221:100 aspect ratio and I wanted to crop it to get rid of the black bars. I know VLC isn't yet available on android but are there any other video players which will allow me to do this?
 
im not sure about cropping, but i use mvideoplayer n i love it. its got a very nice interface, n different settings for picture size, maybe one of them is wat ur looking for :)
 
You could try and press the top left button (on the screen) when the video is playing as it will change the format. One of them might be better for you?

That was my first thought as well, but unfortunately that skews the aspect ratio, so may not be suitable (still worth mentioning though, some people have a much higher tolerance for that than me!).
 
yeah, i hate stretched video too. lol. tv shows look fine, but lately ive been googling for movies that were made in 16:9 aspect ratio n sticking to those :D

in my impression, it seems to no player can crop video. some editing tool or converter can do it. if all of your videos can be played on your SGS2, you can select editing tool. if not, you maybe need a video converter(can convert and edit).
