here you go

Option 25. But you already have it where it needs to be which is "sources and resources". I dont understand what's happening

I fixed the issue, just deleted the decompiled folder within the projects folder and re-did that step which gave me the value folder (: by the way its option 23 not 25. I may have a more updated version then you. I'm trying to change the system font color but a new problem came about, I'm having trouble with the compiling of the .apk, option 11 I believe. just get an error -__- I went back to step 3 like you said but same error occurs. any thoughts?

Most errors are PNG related. Read the log. My suggestion, decompile a stock version of the framework and make the changes to the XML in the value folder, recompile, then take the resources file and put it inside the framework you wanted to use , that should do it.

And according to your screenshot is option 25 to switch decompile mode lol

alright, thanks, I'll try it later. and lol well 25 didn't work at all, read 23 and tried it and decompiled it for me so I don't know lol

I had a lot of problems compiling with APK Multitools. I was able to make the change, but I had to use APKtool instead. I think it might have something to do with Java, but I might be wrong.

It kept saying Building APK
"An Error Occured, Please Check the Log <option24>"
Press any key to continue.

Then when I checked the log it said java.io.IOException: Cannot run program "aapt".

I did install Java JDK.

Any ideas?

I'm trynna compile the framework apk but I get an error talkin about "cannot specify file" I tried changing the heap size to see if that even helped but guess not ^^;

Anywho Imma go get a fresh stock framework and do what you said to do although I'm not sure I'll come out without flaws.

No sir. Its best to copy the hdpi png folder from your framework to a safe place, the put a stock copy of hdpi pngs from a stock framework inside your framework. After compiling, put your hdpi folder back in your framework, done. :D

Yo SU U Still want the Ligth chocalate Theme?

I'm bout stumped right now. The stock framework got me through the recompiling part and all but when I push the modded framework I go under a bootloop or something along the lines of that.

Don't decompile/recompile stock framework as you lose edited xmls that exist inside your daily framework. see my previous post

I'm kind of confused here 0_o so how exactly am I going to change the lockscreen text?? I thought I needed to decompile and compile the framework? How bizarre.

Try my other guide to change the notification pull down carrier text on the all things root guide and some have reported it changes the lock screen too as long as you have the stock lockscreen, or is it the aosp one ?

Lol am doing it for u And u said Am prolly not gonna use it so i decided not to do it If ur not gonna do it i was also gonna share it with the furoms but Yea Whats the point ?

Oh dam, I appreciate the fact that you were doing this exclusively for me :D. I said I wouldn't use it because even if I had made it myself I would've just shared it and not used it for the simple fact that I get used to a color and is hard to change lol. I did not mean to hurt your feelings and accept my apologies if I did. If you do it, do it to learn and share with our community (the best in the whole AF imo) with that being said, If you do it mad props to you, if you don't I will not hold it against you ;) , I love you anyway (no homo)

Im trying to change the text but I keep getting the same error over and over again saying it cannot find the file specified. Any ideas why?
