Help Viewing pictures when connected as media device

Hi All , i've have been trying to figure out when i connect my S2 to laptop via cable and it says connected as media device when i go into the pictures folder i can't view the pics only shows the squares and not the pics themselves ..can anyone help me on how to be able to view the pictures when connected this way ... you can see them when you connect vis Kies but i don't always wanna do it this way..

You need to connect as mass storage to see thumbnails.
