i believe that mod is for aosp kernels.

after a little more research, I believe it is as well. O well, it only takes 10 seconds to set the voltages after a boot up! The underworld kernel is sleeping at a pretty high voltage for me...gonna see how low I can take it.

mike,

if you can get the settings to stick after a re-boot, let me know how! I refuse to accept that it is an AOSP thing..because I have the script in init.d, and the path where the voltages are echoed to are correct, ive checked...the script will change my vdd_levels_havs file in sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/vdd_levels_havs..it just wont save, I have tried changing that file, but even after I "save" it reverts back to where I have it (from the 74 havsvoltage script), then at boot..completely to the kernel base voltages.

Haven't flashed vipermod yet (downloaded it, not flashed yet..wanted to let kernel settle first)....and I dont know if this has anything to do with your issue but look at this post from captthrowback about kernel and vipermod ..his problem was different, but could be your issue....post #155

He talks about an outdated busybox in the vipermod zip...

Just for reference, this is what my voltages are before vipermod flash:
