I've been keeping tabs on you guys for awhile. I had disabled vibration a few months ago for i'm sure the same reasons why you did. You say 'black screens return' I'm guessing it was wakelock, and sleep of death you were experiencing. I noticed them too as well as instability issues with it enabled.

I appreciate your input. I did uses your carbon git tree for reference with 4g/lte. It helped make this phone a little more stable.

As a matter of fact, allot of the f6 device tree's footprint went into the f3 tree's including vibration.

Use what you need, i still have to re do a bunch of sh** because of the ov5693 camera in newer models, have to use jb blobs vs kitkat


however, another dev on my team has built kitkat for the f3, and i dare say hes better than i.

I wanted to let you guys my phone finally died. It won't hold a charge. I know I can just replace the battery but i've had this phone for a few years and am taking the opportunity to upgrade to something newer.

Thanks for everything you have done for the f3 ! Mine has also seen its last day about a week ago dropped and shattered the screen ! I got myself a virgin Mobile moto g 3rd gen for 100$ at best buy . couldn't be happier [emoji12]. Best of luck to you ....

I already unlocked boot loader flashed twrp and rooted my moto .not to many cdma Roms yet but will be soon . [emoji12]

How would I install that? Is it a boot image?

I always flash it in twrp . just hit the button that switches from img to zip

Read the first post. Also make sure you have the zv5 aboot installed. It's not included in the zip.
