because the other thread is closed and we can no longer talk about the 1.9 version i will talk about his original. i placed the external sd card but it wont flash. just a generic error message. i moved the back up onto another sdcard so its off the internal storage. i have almost a gig worth of internal and over a gig on the new sd card. it wont flash. i moved the zip to the internal sd card and it wont flash. i dont get it. i believe i have more then enough room to flash the zip but it just says error extsdcard then the file name.

Possibly a corrupt download. Try downloading the file again. The file flashes fine for me

Space shouldn't be an issue, the entire boot.img which contains the kernel is pretty small. Let us know if you have problems after redownloading the file and trying again.
