Root [Virgin Mobile] How do I remap the camera button?

Is there a simple APK which uses root? Thanks I want to remap to a faster camera app.

There are several apps for remapping buttons. I haven't tried this one, but it's description does mention remapping the camera button to other apps.

You can look in /system/usr/keylayout/ and also /system/usr/keychars/ from there you can edit those files to change the key.

Yes, but you cannot remap to a different app, only to a different key. I've never figured out how to change the key-triggers to get keys to open different apps, have you?
