Hey jerryscript.im.having an sd CARD problem with no storage and external files.directorie.not available when I.play games installed.on my sd card, did.app to.sd.fail, whats going on , I.think with all.the.problems im.havi.g.with.my phone ima use madmans sto k backup, then just.flash your.rom and thats.it, im having.too many.problems, oh and sorry for spam or anything,.I.just want some help

Just saying gpu is not really over clocked, the adreno 225 is normally capped at 400hz, so it is false that is overclocked I locked the frequency to 400 before vae victus so nothing in terms of clock speed changed, but a question the app that originally bootlooped my phone could change the graphics settings on the gpu like anti aliasing and other cool options to tweak the quality of the default graphics or to make it look better or worse to improve framerate is it possible to so this with the 225? The apps was for ics devices only and when I downloaded the {files} it needed, then rebooted my phone was bricked for the first time, the app has the word 3d in it but I forgot what it is called right now

Well the victory was capped at 300 MHz the GS3 is at 400 I think. We have a lower powered msm8960 board. I was thinking of pushing freqs up to 500 MHz like they did for the HTC One X GPU OC did. If I see some people are interested I'll add it, but I'm not really one to OC the gPU as it is fast enough as it is.

Overclocking is always relative to the way the manufacturers push out the device. In this case, we are originally locked to 300mhz.

We had a couple of typos in the GPU OC code which I fixed last nite. Now the GPU actually gets higher 3D scores on Antutu, my best to date:

Above test used CPU oc 1.5min 1.8max Performance, GPU 400max Performance
All settings set via Trickster MOD (in the Play Store)
 
We're getting higher scores. Clearly on our way...
I wonder if the RAM score was higher...;)

2D graphics has seemed to be untouched since the start, I'm thinking there is another hidden table to edit.

The clock speed definitely has an effect on both 2D & 3D scores, here's a test run with GPU set to 200max, all other settings same as previous test.

(Optimus prime voice) I ask you, no command you to oc gpu to 600mhz, lol jk but I'm interested and want to make this phone able to handle dead trigger 2 when it comes out so when we have buddies with uprooted gs4 and play dt 2 we can more or less be on part with eachother
 
I don't know if Jerryscript can run an tutu with gpu and cpu max like 1.8 and 400, but my phone just kicks itself from the application or game when I downloaded this, is it my board, should I take another phone under warranty or not, I don't think it's worth it tho, I think my phone came out in the mid ranged of the phones specifications, I mean this by how people say they got the golden chip when they can oc to 1.8 or whatever, but I think it's my phone personal board in general, not that the phone, if it came out to be a higher quality checked one, could go 1.8 no problem, am I right jerry? Btw nice chasing tom away

I'm working on it now, it'll be super fast...OC to 2.1 ghz and 500mhz gpu, build.prop tweaks, zcache, ksm, io govs it I can manage it

It'll be separate from VaeVictus kernel but share the same base code (with some changes).

Some users have been kicked out of antutu during benches. We don't know why. It doesn't mean your phone is bad, it just means your phone is too badass for antutu. :D
Be proud you were so off the chartsit crashed the benchmark app
 
90% of the time Antutu crashes on my Victory, it's because the phone is too hot from heavy use/testing. Once I let it cool down (lower the overclocks for about 5 minutes and let it idle), I have no problems with Antutu crashing. ;)

Overclocking the GPU is especially heat intensive, which is exactly what we should expect with a 48nm chip (google adreno 200 series and look for tech articles/details), too much shoved into too tight of a space. If anyone has some micro-cryo-tubes, they could probably push the GPU over 1ghz. ;)
 
Well, once winter comes around and you are outside waiting for the bus... you can do some crazy overclocks and play your games... you can keep your hands warm and your phone cool at the same time! lol ;P
 
Yeah my phone gets hot too, kicks me outta a lot of games/apps, thanks I know im powerkrazy,but 2.1 is that practical,possible or executable without some drawbacks, high five for for highschool android dev im freshman, and looking to make some apks and games with unity engine keep up the good work bro
 
don't know if its the software,twrp or im doing something wrong, but with the latest victorious, then flashing the newest vae victus as of right now ver 0.2 . something, my phone for the second time my phone boots up normally, then after 10 secons of use frezzes, screen unresponsive, when locked then unlocked the menue buttons only light up, only way to get rid of this is to remove battery, reinstall, but into recovery, wipe system, install the stock recovey I have, re install victorious, then don't install the fixed gpu boost ver 0.2 of vae victus, did it another time and did the same steps from before, but with another version of victorious the older one with1.5 cap and then flashed vaevictus fast charge, same freezing and no response, I don't know how to do a logcat, or will wait to do one, but if I come across this problem again I would be hapy to do so, this is the second time I this has happened, I think its the overclock or kernel, because never froze without it, be aware jerryscrpt can you check for capatability issues, ps I didn't wipe cache/dalavic when flashing vae victus like you recommended, and I never seem to have this problem when I have just victorious any version installed, and I always delete and reinstalled vae victus like 5 times, so I don't know where the issue is
