Root [Virgin Mobile] Newbie screwed up installing Victorious again and is now stuck on (a different stage of) boot

I always do it after :p But it shouldn't matter...

I just find it convenient because after you flash, there is the button to wipe dalvik/cache :)

The first time I attempted to flash Victorious, I wiped dalvik/cache after the flashing. The result was that I got stuck on the blue bubbles instead of the Samsung logo, which I guess was sort of an improvement, as it's further along in the boot process :o

Please explain your button being stuck pressed down?

After wiping cache and dalvik, I went back to the starting page in TWRP and touched the "Install" button. The button visibly depressed, but then the phone got stuck with the "Install" button depressed. The install options did not appear.

That is a problem, that should not happen. I would recommend redownloading the TWRP Odin package and flashing it via Odin again. Then try installing an earlier version of Victorious such as 0.1.4 (no issues for most with that release). THB, I still haven't nailed down why some people have issues with 0.2.2.

I'll be putting out a new version of Victorious built from the new update late tonite (or early tomorrow morning depending on where you live, I'm in Vegas). Hopefully we can finally put the 0.2.2 issues behind us with the new install methods I'll be using, sorry for the troubles you have!

sometimes when I try to flash a file like vicoroius and back out before swiping to flash and then try to click on the zip file to get to the part where you swipe to confoirm flashing, I cant, twrp wont let me, so I have to pull the battery and reboot into twrp again and then flash it without accidentally backing out which for the most part is succesfull

FYI- you never have to pull battery (that's bad for your phone anyway). Just long press the power button and it will power off (it's built into the "bios" takes about 5 seconds of holding the power button down).

Our battery cover is so flimsy, I'm afraid removing it constantly will break it! ;)
