Yes on LTEon 4g lte?
Good news. I am running APN fix 2. Google updated their hangouts application to send SMS and MMS. I managed to be able to both send and recieve MMS flawlessly. Hope this helps you guys.
This work for me and im running CM11
Are you serious?

heres the thing. mms works fine, both send and recieve, as long as lte is off. on 3g it all works fine, on lte its broken. not really sure what the deal is and dont have a device to tinker with so i dunno what to tell you guys. the problem seems to be samsung specific as well, zte force is fully functional lte/mms wise
there may be a conflict in the radio, there may be a conflict in the code seeing as it was all built for the sprint version, but the conflict is causing the lte's mms connection to connect to the wrong server or use the wrong login info, could be buried deep within the rom itself, tucked away in the framework or hidden in the mms.apk, a rebuild might fix it, it may not.be a samsung specific issue it may just be that they hardcoded the sprint servers into the rom im not really sure, the force cm was made specifically for the force on boost and a virgin specific build of cm for this phone was never attempted that i know of, the sprint stock rom conversions would have to be hacked up and tweaked internally.
basically it could just be due to it being a multi brand phone using one brands rom cooked up as a base instead of rebuilding from scratch, and samsung is one of the few that carries across all three brand names sprint owns, the problem is due to something along one of those lines though, it has to be
the lte apn info for mms is identical to the mms info on the working mms apn entry, so thproblem is almost certainly not the apn, the mms.apk has been tried from a virgin stock rom to a sprint conversion im sure, though you are free to try again, and the mms.apk would have to be rebuilt for anything aosp based which you are free to try but why it would work on 3g and not lte i dont understand at all
yea, i am not really sure about the mms.apk tho, that may be another piece in the puzzle but it didnt seem to solve the issue in a sprint based conversion. you know more than some noobs ive seen so youre doing alright and it never hurts to question things, often times solutions come from someone questioning the usual methods. the fact is tho i only really know that the apn should be solid, i helped write it, got lte working, i cant understand why mms and lte would conflict like that and i have no.way of figuring it out without the device in question. i have a wimax s2 and am getting a zte force lte but neither of them are both samsungs and lte...
thats a good place to start, i tried looking for lte boost phones for reference when i was working on the boost force, come to find out there was only one and they didnt even have cm running yet... so i was on my own there. ask em about it, see if they have the same issue, hell might even go ask other virgin lte people regardless of whether they are samsungs or not. find out what apns they use for cm/aosp based roms, see what issues they have, you may be able to figure out the issue. i have limited resources, all i can really do is run my mouth at this point, but with a little research and some help from someone with some dev experience you might come up with something
a year ago today i wasnt a dev either. i was just a guy who got a phone that didnt have any custom recoveries or roms, and although i can live without custom roms, you give me a phone without a way to fix a soft brick im in a world of trouble lol. so i had to do what i had to do, if you wanna learn research, ask around, only the details are device specific, the bigger picture is generic so the more you learn about android and tinker the better you will become. learn about theming, cooking up stock roms, and building from source, choose your path and go with it, just dont think you can only do one, its best to know how to do all three on at least a basic level
