Virgin Mobile price changes

Can aybody tell me what the new 35 VM plan comes to after all taxes and fees? Or at least your bills on the old the 25 plan since the 35 is brand new.

I know they stack all those taxes and fees on so I want to know the real final price. Like I'm assuming something like 32 for the 25 plan.
You should be paying $35 total. The plan, at least the $25 plan I am on said it was $25 total and that is all I pay - no more. Use a top up card number to put in the exact amount for your account and VM will draw that amount out monthly. The text below is from the VM web site so there might be some extra charges if VM does the transactions mentioned or you are in one of the states with fees that they mention. But use a top up number from somewhere like callingmart.com and it will be cheaper.

"All of the Beyond Talk Plans are inclusive of taxes and surcharges. However, we collect sales taxes on all Top-Up transactions for all services that we process directly and, in certain states, we collect regulatory fees. Retailers are responsible for collecting sales taxes and, in some states, regulatory fees for Top-Up transactions that they process."

I posted that in the Optimus V section (was moved to here) and no one there was talking about it. Next time i'm sure to check with you first Mr. Internet  Sorry if i'm not on the forums 24/7 like some people..

OLD OLD OLD OLD OLD news! You should read the forums more often!

anyone have a way to see how much data you've used on your current month?

I have the 'minutes checker for vm' .. but not sure how to check/watch your data usage. I'm just curious how much I actually use.

Update on my billing issue. VM ended up running my monthly charges so now I got double charged for the month. I had to call support and get them to refund one of the charges.

People were talking about it there, but all the posts on this topic got/get moved here, as yours did. This does not, however, negate the fact that greg needs to calm the eff down and stop going off on people.

My service isn't dodgy and my bill is still $25.

I'm in an area that shows their BEST speeds and connectivity. However, I'm also in an area that's heavily populated. Usually, my connection sucks wind.
Usually 80 - 200kbps and it varies wildly but those are normal speeds. I'm in a major metro area with VM's best coverage.

So, I sometimes wonder if the reason people in those less populated areas report really good connections is that there aren't as many hogs connected slowing the network down whereas in heavily populated areas, more bandwidth hogs and so more congestion and so slower connections.

Just a theory.

I actually have better service in Baltimore than I do out in the boonies where I live. Of the 3 phone's I've had on VM, I was unable to activate any at home. I had to drive to Baltimore the day after getting each one and was able to activate inside BWI and the other one I was in a parking garage and activated. When I got my Optimus V I did it over the phone.

Strangely enough, I reset my month today (I was two days away from renewal but was out of minutes), and all signs point to me still being at $25/mo...every place I see a price quoted, it still says $25/mo...

Additionally, if I load the "reset your month" page like the above poster did, the only change I see is that they are now trying to tack on a $2/mo. "sales tax", bringing my total to $27. Nothing else.
