Having trouble with BT. Turn it on, stays on for a while as if starting the service, then turns off. Can't get it to work.

I have a fix for that in and moonknightus linked to it check first or second post of this thread.

I think my link is to the old one. Internet is down at home, only have net access by phone but this should be the latest. Will update post #2 when the cable is back on. Sorry.

I download the file on the 1st page , and downloaded and installed and it didnt work for me, it boots but i have nothing working and an error keeps popping up to force close, i believe the radio is not working no wifi, bluetooth, phone or anything tried it with the update and without it.any ideas?

Yes I did tried sever times, tried both kernel, installed the full rom 8.0 then the update then wiped again and tried without update and still the same thing maybe my phone just doesn't like it lol

not kernel wise cause the link i gave you will overwrite that flash it last then boot up so
1. run installer
2. flash the kernel i gave you then reboot system see what happens.

Ok I had one more question whats the proper way to wipe?I wipe cache and delvik then factory reset ,I noticed it doesnt wipe internal memory is this normal?

Factory reset is not the proper way to wipe. This is part of what I hate about TWRP 2.4. Since I use and test with 2.6, all of my instructions are geared for that version. I suggest flashing 2.6 with the link I posted above or the link from the 2nd post. Proper wipe is:
  • Reboot to recovery
  • Tap Wipe
  • Tap Advanced Wipe
  • Check Dalvik Cache, System, Cache, and Data
  • Swipe the slider to wipe

Then install a fresh ROM. If you do not wipe these partitions, you will experience multiple errors due to conflicting apps/settings/files being installed over your existing ones. Have fun.

If you have installed 8.3 and TeachMe's bluetooth fix separately -- or if you are on 8.3 and you are not having problems with bluetooth -- you do not need to update to this version.

OP updated with new FAQs.
Bittorrent link was broken, should be fixed now.

I don't know if anybody has talked about this yet or if its even related but ever since I've updated to 8.3 (I think) whenever I have my WiFi on, it constantly disconnects from my WiFi and it overheats my battery and it can't seem to hold a charge.

I ALWAYS leave my Wi-Fi turned on when I'm home. I've been home all day almost every day since surgery and haven't had this problem. Its more likely that you are running your phone's CPU at a frequency that is borderline too high. Try lowering your frequencies with the included TricksterMOD or another app.

That said, I'm no longer taking support requests for Plutonium series. Please download and update to Dominion/9.0

I understand that you're not taking requests for it. I was just checking to see if it was only me. And I don't have it overclocked that much. Only to about 1.4 Ghz. And it doesn't have a problem with overheating or the battery getting drained until I turn on the WiFi. I'll update in a sec see if it changes anything.
