Root [Virgin Mobile] [VM SPH-L300] Wifi and Bluetooth will not turn on

So I kept conquest and just tried flashing my phone with the baseband fix. It worked but it's asking if I want to system update with (88.2 MB update)

Is it safe to install a System update on the conquest rom? Or should I just install the [VM]Samsung Galaxy Victory 4G LTE MC1 TWRP Backup.7z

And then proceed to updating?

By the way you guys are awesome! Insanelycool and moonknightus are my favorite Android developers, thanks to you guys I was able to fix my victory that was flashing a white screen at boot with no recovery menu or download boot, you guys seriously are THE SHIT!

You can't update while on a custom ROM, it will just fail. Are you on mc1 now? If not don't restore mc1 backup. There are 2 updates after mc1;, there's mg5 and nd4. If your on mc1 then restore the stock mc1 backup and then use jerryscript's mg5 no props.zip update. Then use nick_73's nd4 no props.zip update. I will try to find links for you.

I had the same problem
I have not changed anything on my phone for like 6 months.
I have been working with my nexus 7,
I guess I got spoiled how nice it is flashing, and its bulletproof
anyway

I wiped my phone, to install victorious, I had int2extsd swap,
wrecked my storage, could not mount in recovery to copy files.
Not to mention I no longer have victorious files and the links are down.
flashed conquest rom over and no wifi or bluetooth
flashed stock rom,kernel,recovery
I booted up phone, started kies
let it connect
Tools>firmware upgrade and init
Phone is now back complete stock with working wifi and bluetooth.
now to start all over again.

You don't wipe your phone to install victorious, its not a full ROM. Its packaged as an update to stock. Good to know kies worked, you should have captured the file, we could have had an Odin flashable return to stock .tar file.

I know its an update, I was going to just flash stock rom, and vict.
i changed too much stuff.
Im actually done with this phone,
so if you can tell me what you need, and where it is.
I can get that

The symptoms are just when I go to turn on WiFi or Bluetooth via drop down menu, Settings switch, or even withing the individual settings under WiFi and Bluetooth, the switch moves over to on and is still grey for about 5 seconds and then switches back to off.

I assume that it has something to do with my modem (more information here), but I wanted to check if the problem could be something else since I do get service (both 3G and 4G when I am in the city). I have restored to stock everything with g60madman's files, except the modem (which is still Sprint's) as I can't find that anywhere... Thank you in advance for any help!
Had same issues... I just reflash stock and voila

Wi-fi issues here too. I have tried restoring the stock install via kies and it is giving me the error message "'SPH-L300' does not support initializing". I do not know if using the baseband updater zip will help, but I can not download it anyways, the link is broken. I would really appreciate it if anybody could help me with this, thanks!
