Root [Virgin Mobile] [Vmobi][ROM][ALPHA] CyanogenMod Jelly Bean 4.1.2 [08.25.2013]

Well, I think I did it... (although both storages are the same now)
what does link2sd say about your storage? look at the scripts in the intd folder for this and victorious and see what you need to change. ill set mine up today and post a flashable zip as soon as i get time here at work to do it.

hey post a copy of your 11extsd2internalsd found in system/etc/init.d folder please sir then i can edit on my pc and send to phone alot easier here at work.

Sorry but I restored my backup because I was getting random crashes of the keyboard and stuff and restoring seemed to fix it.

Would grabbing that file from Victorious ROM and dropping it on my phone with CM do anything?

Ok thanks! Btw once camera and WiFi are working I'd be glad to help you guys with 4g! I have 4g in my area so if you walk me through how to give you whatever you need it'd be cool to help out! I'm excited for this ROM to advance!

WiFi works just fine, it'll just reboot if you're more than ~50ft from the router. (when it goes from three blue bars to two you're REALLY close. Another few feet and those blue bars turn grey. At that point you've got about 3 seconds to a reboot).

If you stay in that range it'll boot loop, but totally exiting wifi range, or getting closer (or wiping dalvik) will allow it to boot.

Yeah...camera is still borked.

Been using CM10 for 10 days now, its very much usable as a daily driver. I love it.

Yea I've seen people say that but WiFi and camera are very important aspects for me. I couldn't go that long without a camera. I could definitely hold off for a while for Bluetooth and 4g they aren't that important to me. Usually I'm within some sort of WiFi range so I don't need my data. I don't really use Bluetooth and I can live without 4g. I'm really excited for this ROM and I'm extremely temped to flash it but I think I can wait a little bit longer for those two features to get working :)

You gotta at least try it for an hour or two. Its got alot of fun features ti play with. I believe someone described as full of doodads. (hehe, doodads)

In the cyanogen impressions thread I posted a few screenshots of new settings menus.

There's more, but it'll give you a taste and I'd hate to ruin the surprise.

I've run CM on devices for well over a year now... I may flash it later tonight after doing a nandroid backup for shits and giggles. After all, I do plan to begin keeping my SLR with me 24/7...

Okay, I've given in. I have a question before I flash it (I rarely use WiFi and don't get 4G at home... so I can live with taht for now)

When I do a factory reset, will I have to re-activate my phone/re-do the MSID and all that?

I didnt do a factory reset, I just did a full wipe and flashed.

If I understand correctly, once you're activated, if your phone doesn't have a meid or assigned # the first thing it does is send its serial # to VM to request them. I've flashed my Opti a billion times, and that stuff always sorted itself out instantly upon first boot.

When I install I usually just make a full backup in TWRP, then I factory reset the phone. I reboot and let it get to the setup menu than I reboot, install CM, delete data and reboot. I know... so many unnecessary steps but it's an OCD thing.

I decided to try it out just to see how it is and I got to the boot screen where it says cyanogen mod with the circle around it. I don't know what went wrong

Now, I'm trying to get external 2 internal working on cm. I'm trying to set it all up, are these settings good?
