Root [Virgin Mobile] Wifi will not come on after restore.

My Wi-Fi refuses to come on. Everytime I switch it in it goes right off. I've tried restoring g60's backup but it still refuses to come on. Kies says my phone current firmware is not supported to update firmware I don't know what to do because I really need my Wi-Fi connection. Help would be greatly appreciated

Have you tried restoring the stock recovery? That will allow you to do firmware updates.

Don't confuse a stock backup with the stock recovery! They are two different beasts!
